MISBHV was never supposed to be anything other than a personal project. In the 1980's Poland, if you saw a garment in pop culture you had to make it yourself - there was no option of buying. There were no stores, no fashion - hence the strong DIY. The founders, Natalia Maczek and Thomas Wirski, believe in their own point of view and don’t look at influencers, trends or other brands. A research of the history of clubwear has been their design premise from the start. Interested in exploring the intersection of fashion and the underground and youth culture in a broader perspective. Music plays a key role in the development of ideas, side by side with fashion, opening a valid conversation on the dynamic between style and electronic music.
