Established in 2012 by Jefferson Osei, Abderrahmane Trabsini and Hussein Suleiman, Daily Paper started out as a lifestyle blog and has since grown to be one of the fastest growing streetwear brands out of Europe. Based in Amsterdam, the designers fuse their love of music, art and culture with traditional prints and fabrics from their African heritage aesthetics.
“Never forgetting to pay homage our African heritage is a huge source of inspiration and part of our design language within our collections. Portrayed through the lens of the youth, we continue to push boundaries every season.”
The trio believes in diversity and inclusivity. Having worked on projects with Puma, Colette, the Muslim Sisterhood and Van Gogh, they aim to unite global communities, and champion true collaboration to further push boundaries, educate and inspire their audience.
“Through creativity and fashion, we aim to inspire and educate the next generation of leaders in order to create a community of belonging, rather than exclusion.”
Daily Paper has amassed a cult following already and has been seen on the hottest artists in the music industry such as:
Stormzy, Jessie Reyez, Young Thug, Snoh Alegra, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Maluma, Anderson .Paak, Lil Nas X, Trey Songz and so many more.
And now they join us at Due West, finding a home in Toronto’s hub for fashion and culture on Queen West.
