Founded in 2007 by Roma Cohen, Alchemist has become an it brand for musicians and artists. Creating a collaborative space, the brand has worked with icons and industry giants such as Bloody Osiris, Guess and Justin Bieber to name a few.
This creative endeavour not only feeds their design principles and special projects but also touches the retail space, where they continue to breathe life into the melting pot that is the Miami design district through art and fashion.
LEVEL 5
The storefront by Alchemist is located on the 5th floor of the Herzog & de Meuron designed 1111 Lincoln Road parking structure. Reflective glass and mirror, as well as an integrated ceiling installation by London based art collective Random International, highlight the beauty of the store’s surroundings. The kinetic art piece titled Mercury featured in Vogue Magazine consists of 48 moving mirrored panels that flutter as patrons walk beneath it. The unique space has been the host many special collaborations such as Rolling Stone, Chrome Hearts x Barbie, Fear of God and more, and continues to be an iconic landscape for the Alchemist brand.
