A Canada Goose parka is an investment and well taken care of garment will easily last for more than a decade, if not a lifetime. Follow these steps to ensure you get the most out of your parka, and you'll be as happy as this customer above, wearing her Trillium parka!
Storing your parka
When storing your parka for the summer months, it’s best to hang your parka in a cool, dry place (airflow is a plus). You don’t want to keep your parka compressed for extended periods of time – that can permanently damage your down, reducing the warmth factor and leaving you with chills next season.
If your parka is dry clean only, take it to a reputable dry cleaner. Because Canada Goose parkas contain natural materials, they’re very sensitive to chemicals. It’s best to take your parka to someone experienced in handling down & fur products. If you’re unsure of where to take your parka in the Toronto area, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will happily refer you to someone who is experienced in handling Canada Goose jackets.
Dry-cleaning can get expensive for every little spot and stain. You can remove a small stain without going to the dry cleaner – spot wash with a bleach-free detergent and air-dry.
Keep your fur Lush
When your fur requires cleaning, take it to a furrier & let the experts work their magic. When dry-cleaning, it’s best to remove your fur ruff to avoid chemical damage. If removing the fur is not an option, be sure to tell your dry cleaner to not apply any chemicals to the fur ruff (chemicals will shrink and damage the fur).
Follow these steps and your parka will keep you warm for many winters to come! If you have any additional tips, please share them with us at email@example.com.
